Overview

Shenzhen Starmax Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Runmefit" or "we") is committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable data protection and privacy laws. This privacy policy is designed to help you understand what information is collected when you use our products and services, and how we process and use that information. If you have any questions after reading this privacy policy, please contact us at the email address provided at the end of this document.

Types of Information We Collect

When you use our products and services, we may collect the following types of information:

If you create an account on our application, you may be required to provide your country/region, email address, password, date of birth, gender, height, and weight. You may also choose to provide additional details such as your nickname, weight goal, step goal, profile picture, etc.

This includes data such as step count, distance, speed, exercise duration, calories burned, sleep duration, heart rate, blood pressure, blood oxygen levels, body temperature, walking time, exercise type, detailed records for each type of exercise, and badges (we award virtual badges based on your activity).

When you use location-based services—such as initiating outdoor exercise mode, checking the weather, or selecting your region—GPS data will be used. If you do not grant permission to access your device's GPS, we will not collect this information.

We collect information about your device and app usage, including configuration data, device MAC address, model/version, serial number, firmware version, language, app version, phone OS version, device settings, IP address, network type, and device identifiers.

When using various features of our devices and applications, you may provide service-related data such as reminder settings or exercise records. For instance:

If you have any questions or suggestions regarding our products or services, you can submit feedback via the "My > Feedback" section. We will collect your feedback and contact details to better understand and address any issues you may encounter.

We may collect usage data when you use our devices or applications, such as records of account creation or login, account-device pairing, device reboot counts, network usage, system errors, crashes, reboots, and upgrade details. Logs from the past 7 days are stored locally, and older logs are automatically deleted. Unless necessary for maintenance or device diagnostics and with your consent, we do not actively collect these logs.

When using our products as a guest (without registering or logging in), you can only access limited services. In this mode, personal data (e.g., nickname, gender, height, weight, date of birth, and fitness/health data) is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded.

When using push notifications, we may obtain a list of applications on your device (such as phone, contacts, and other apps) and access their notification statuses.

After account creation, your fitness and wellness data will be uploaded to our servers for storage and processing. This data is used to provide services, and we employ reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect it.

We may also collect other types of information that are aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified so that it cannot be directly or indirectly linked to an individual.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected for the following purposes:

Non-Personal Data Usage:

We may collect log information that does not involve personal data (e.g., error codes from hardware issues, reboot logs, Bluetooth connection logs, and anonymized usage data if you opt in) for overall analysis to address errors, monitor usage, and optimize our services.
